Faith is a 3month old beautiful baby girl born with Patau Syndrome
Patau syndrome, or Trisomy 13, is a rare chromosomal disorder that can cause a wide range of significant health and developmental problems. Families of children diagnosed with Patau syndrome face immense challenges that can have a long-lasting impact on their lives. Children with Patau syndrome often require continuous medical care from birth. This can include multiple surgeries, frequent hospital stays, and ongoing treatments for complex health issues. The financial strain of these medical costs can be overwhelming, even with insurance.
Meet Tysheka Faith’s Mother
Tysheka Poole, a dedicated mother of three from Minneapolis, has put her career on hold to focus on her family. A former paraprofessional for the Hopkins School District and a member of Sanctuary Church, Tysheka had to end her employment to manage the medical care required for her daughter, Faith, and to care for Faith's two older brothers.
